About
Also known as: Zein Sajdi, زين, زين ساجدي
Zeyne, the stage name of Zein Sajdi, makes music that refuses to sit still in one genre. Her sound pulls from jazz, R&B, soul, hip hop and Arabic traditions, with influences ranging from Fairuz and Ziad Rahbani to Lauryn Hill and Billie Eilish. That eclecticism isn't just stylistic restlessness; it shows up in the specifics, like her 2024 double single where one track fuses R&B with the rhythm of dabke, the traditional Levantine folk dance, complete with a music video of Sajdi dancing alongside professional dabke dancers. Beyond her own releases, she has quietly built a reputation as a songwriter for others, contributing to Elyanna, Massari and multiple tracks on Issam Alnajjar's debut album and EP. In 2023 she was part of the 25 artist collective behind the charity single "Rajieen", made in response to the Gaza war. Her debut album Awda arrived in October 2025, featuring collaborations with Saint Levant and Bayou, and already has over 51 million streams across platforms behind her name.
