A Day to Remember

About

Also known as: ADtR

Few bands blend bone crushing metalcore with sugary pop punk as naturally as A Day to Remember, the Ocala, Florida outfit that has been doing exactly that since 2003. Their third album, Homesick, was the real breakthrough, landing at number 21 on the Billboard 200 and hitting number one on the Top Independent Albums chart, eventually shifting over 200,000 copies. That kind of crossover pull is rare in any genre, and it cemented ADtR as something genuinely hard to categorize in the best possible way. The band's road has had plenty of turbulence beyond just genre labels. A lengthy legal battle with Victory Records over their recording contract ran through most of the early 2010s, ultimately pushing them to self release their fifth album, Common Courtesy, in 2013. They kept the momentum going with Bad Vibrations in 2016 and You're Welcome in 2021, their first release through Fueled by Ramen. Their latest record, Big Ole Album Vol. 1, arrived in early 2025.
