About
Ben Poole is a British blues rock guitarist whose playing has won praise from two of the all time greats, Jeff Beck and Gary Moore. His sound mixes blues, pop and rock and roll into something energetic and distinctly his own, and he has spent years building a reputation on the road, racking up a 140 date, 19 country tour and festival slots at Glastonbury and Download among others. Back in 2012 he represented the UK at the European Blues Challenge in Berlin and came third out of 19 countries, which says a lot about where he stood even early on. His studio albums include the self released debut Let's Go Upstairs, produced by Grammy winner Isaac Nossel, followed by Time Has Come and the collaborative Anytime You Need Me, co written with Wayne Proctor and Steve Wright after months of writing sessions in the hills of North Wales. He has also documented his live work across several releases, including the double album Trio/// Live '19 and an acoustic set recorded with Dutch bluesman Guy Smeets.
