About
Glasgow's Bleed From Within have spent two decades carving out a place at the sharper end of melodic metalcore, and their trajectory tells a pretty compelling story. Formed in 2005, they built their early reputation on relentless touring alongside acts like Suicide Silence, Soilwork and After the Burial before landing a deal with Century Media Records after an impromptu slot at the Graspop festival in Belgium. Their third album Uprising charted at number 13 on the UK Rock Chart and won them Metal Hammer's Golden Gods award for Best New Band, with production input from Adam Getgood of Periphery giving it a noticeably polished edge. They have since signed to Nuclear Blast and kept pushing their sound forward. Fracture featured a guest solo from Trivium's Matt Heafy, while Shrine followed in 2022. Their seventh studio album Zenith landed in April 2025, preceded by singles including "In Place of Your Halo" and "Hands of Sin", continuing the run of increasingly ambitious records the band has been building across the last decade.
