Ella Eyre first turned heads when Rudimental's "Waiting All Night" hit number one in the UK in 2013, a track that went on to win the Brit Award for British Single of the Year. That was just the starting point. She followed it up with a run of top twenty solo singles, a debut album called Feline that cracked the UK top five, and collaborations with Naughty Boy, DJ Fresh and Sigala, plus a co write on the UK number one "Changing" for Sigma featuring Paloma Faith. Her path took a serious detour when vocal cord surgery during the COVID lockdowns left her having to relearn how to speak and sing from scratch. Coming out the other side, she ditched her Island Records deal, took ownership of her masters, scrapped unreleased material and started over as an independent artist. The result was her second studio album, Everything, in Time, released in late 2025 through PIAS Recordings, a record that feels like a genuine reset rather than a comeback.
