About
Kita Alexander's double platinum single "Hotel" spent over 20 weeks on the ARIA Hitseekers Singles Chart before cracking the top 60 of the main ARIA Singles Chart in late 2017, and it remains probably the track most people know her by. The Brisbane singer packs a lot into her pop songwriting: "Between You & I" samples Tears for Fears, "Against the Water" deals with the real experience of stepping back from touring to care for her partner after a serious injury, and "Memories of You" confronts sexual abuse with deliberate, unflinching intent. Her debut album Young in Love arrived in March 2024 after years of EPs building a loyal following, and a second album titled Rage is on the way. Her fanbase, earned through Australian headline touring, goes by Kita's Angels.
