About
Kodaline built their reputation on sweeping, emotionally charged rock that somehow managed to be simultaneously enormous and intimate. The Dublin band, made up of Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vincent May, and Jason Boland, first grabbed wider attention under their previous name 21 Demands, when they made Irish chart history as the first act to top the Irish Singles Chart with an independently released track. After rebranding as Kodaline in 2012, their track "All I Want" took on a life of its own, landing on Grey's Anatomy, The Vampire Diaries, The Fault in Our Stars, and Google's Year in Review video. Their debut album In a Perfect World arrived in 2013, and they kept at it through three more studio records, most recently One Day at a Time in 2020, which peaked at number two in Ireland. A collaboration with Gabrielle Aplin, "Everyone Changes", came out that same year.
