Peter Pan Speedrock built their reputation the hard way, grinding through relentless live shows until they became one of the most dependable acts in the Dutch rock scene. The Eindhoven trio, led by guitarist and vocalist Peter van Elderen alongside drummer Bart Nederhand and bassist Bart Geevers, play a ferocious blend of metal, rockabilly and no nonsense rock and roll that owes a clear debt to Motörhead and AC/DC, with a rougher, faster edge that earned them the "speedrock" tag they eventually made official by adding it to their name in 2001. Their catalogue runs from the raw punch of Killermachine to the slightly more refined grooves of Spread Eagle, recorded in Sweden with producer Tomas Skogsberg. A sold out farewell show at Eindhoven's Effenaar in 2016 looked like the end, but in September 2021 they announced they were coming back.
