About
Also known as: Hannah Rose Collins, RØSÉ
Scene Queen coined the term 'bimbocore' and built a genre around it: a hyperfeminine take on metalcore that layers djent guitars and trap beats under pop inflected vocals, all wrapped in Y2K pink aesthetics straight out of a Paris Hilton mood board. Signed to Hopeless Records, she dropped her debut EP Bimbocore in April 2022, followed by Bimbocore Vol. 2 later that year, with tracks like 'Pink Rover' tackling street harassment and 'Pink Panther' sampling the classic theme while celebrating queer desire. Her debut full length album Hot Singles in Your Area arrived in June 2024, preceded by singles that tackled everything from predatory behavior in the alternative scene to a country metal blend she described as 'a conservative person's worst nightmare'. Kerrang! compared her fan base to followers of Ghostemane, Ashnikko and Kesha, which gives you a pretty good sense of the chaotic, genre smashing territory she operates in.
