Out of Dayton, Ohio, The Devil Wears Prada built their reputation as one of metalcore's more consistent acts, blending crushing heaviness with melodic hooks and keyboard textures that set them apart from a lot of their peers. Formerly rooted in Christian metalcore, the band has put out nine studio albums since their 2006 debut, with With Roots Above and Branches Below hitting No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and Plagues outselling their debut by more than 30,000 copies. Their song "Dez Moines" even made it into Guitar Hero World Tour as downloadable content. The current lineup centers on vocalist Mike Hranica and guitarist and vocalist Jeremy DePoyster, supported by lead guitar, bass, keys and drums. Over the years TDWP have shared stages at Warped Tour and toured alongside acts like Underoath and A Day to Remember, earning a devoted fanbase that spans well beyond the Christian metal scene they started in.
