About
Three brothers and a singer who clicked on the road: that's The Interrupters, a Los Angeles ska punk band fronted by Aimee Interrupter alongside Kevin, Justin and Jesse Bivona. They started in 2011 and were already out supporting the likes of Rancid and The Transplants, and playing Riot Fest, before they'd even released an album. Tim Armstrong has been a constant presence, producing their records and guesting on early single "Family". Since their 2014 self titled debut on Hellcat/Epitaph, they've followed up with Say It Out Loud, Fight the Good Fight and 2022's In the Wild. "She's Kerosene" climbed to number 4 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart, and the band landed a Kerrang! cover in 2019. Their song "Take Back the Power" has popped up in a hockey tournament ad and as intro music for a Hillary Clinton docuseries. Live, Billy Kottage adds organ and trombone to the mix.
