Ty Myers blends blues, rock, soul, and country into something that feels genuinely lived in rather than genre hopping for the sake of it. The Texas singer songwriter and guitarist went viral on TikTok before signing with Columbia Records, and his 2025 debut album The Select showed exactly why the buzz was warranted. Lead single "Ends of the Earth" cracked both the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, peaking at number 20, and crossed over onto the all genre Billboard Hot 100. His influences run deep and wide, from George Strait and Otis Redding to Stevie Ray Vaughan and John Mayer, and you can hear all of them in his mix of classic country storytelling, bluesy guitar work, and soulful vocals. A deluxe edition of The Select added new tracks and acoustic versions of fan favorites including "Firefly" and "Worry Is a Sickness". His second album, Heavy on the Soul, recorded at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, is set for release in 2026.
