The Chemical Brothers heading to Open'er 2027, a likely contender for Werchter and DTRH too

The Chemical Brothers will close out the main stage at Open'er on July 1, 2027, the same weekend as Down The Rabbit Hole and Rock Werchter.

Poland's Open'er Festival has announced The Chemical Brothers as a new headliner for its 2027 edition. The electronic duo will close the Orange Main Stage on Thursday, July 1. That puts the Brits alongside Tame Impala, Sombr and RAYE, who were already confirmed for the festival.
Open'er revealed a few more names besides The Chemical Brothers. Adéla, Underscores, Ellie Goulding and 5 Seconds Of Summer have been added to the lineup. In recent years the festival has often dropped new artists throughout the day, so it's not out of the question that more is on the way.
For festivalgoers in the Netherlands and Belgium, the news is mainly interesting because of the timing. Open'er falls on the same weekend as Down The Rabbit Hole 2027 and Rock Werchter 2027. Poland isn't all that far away, which makes The Chemical Brothers a logical candidate for a slot, possibly even as a headliner, at one of those two festivals. Whether the duo will actually travel on to the Low Countries hasn't been confirmed at this point.
At Rock Werchter, the rumor mill is already running at full speed. The festival already shares two names with Open'er, namely headliner Tame Impala and Sombr. So it's conceivable that The Chemical Brothers will join them there too. Down The Rabbit Hole hasn't announced any artists yet, which usually happens around November.
