About
FLO were the first girl group ever to win both the BBC Sound of... poll and the Brit Award for Rising Star in the same year, and they did it on the back of a single, "Cardboard Box". The London trio, Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma and Renée Downer, blew up on social media with that debut, earning praise from SZA and Victoria Monét and a silver certification from the BPI. Island Records signed them, and the EPs The Lead and 3 of Us followed. Things kept escalating from there. Missy Elliott jumped on "Fly Girl", which reworks her track "Work It". They played Glastonbury and Coachella, and their debut album Access All Areas reached number three on the UK Albums Chart. It features GloRilla on "In My Bag" and Cynthia Erivo as well, and it earned them a Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album. More recently they teamed up with Kaytranada on "The Mood".
