About
Also known as: Kipling Christian Moore
Kip Moore has a knack for writing songs that stick, and he proved it early when his debut album Up All Night produced the number one country hit "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" along with two more top five singles, making it the most commercially successful debut for a male country artist in both 2012 and 2013. He co wrote every track on that record, and that hands on approach has defined his career ever since. His pen has also shaped hits for other artists, including Thompson Square's debut single and Frankie Ballard's "Cigarette". After five albums with MCA Nashville, he parted ways with the label in 2024, signing with Virgin Music Group and picking up the CMA International Artist Achievement Award for his touring work around the world. His sixth studio album Solitary Tracks arrived in early 2025, with recent videos for tracks like "American Heartbreak" and "Levee" showing he is still pushing forward.
