Seafret (GB)

About

Seafret are a rock duo from Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire, made up of singer Jack Sedman and guitarist Harry Draper. Their name is a nod to the sea mist that drifts in from the North Sea in summer, with a cheeky pun on a guitar fretboard thrown in. Their 2016 debut album Tell Me It's Real charted in the UK, but the real story is their single "Atlantis": a sped up version went viral on TikTok in 2022, sent the song charting across Europe, and pushed it past 400 million Spotify streams, pulling in 13 million monthly listeners along the way. The duo built their following steadily through a run of EPs and singles from 2014 onwards, with a sound that sits in atmospheric indie rock territory. Their fourth EP, Monsters, came out in 2018, and they have kept releasing music since. A new album called Fear of Emotion was announced for 2026, with the track "Signal Fire" giving fans their first taste.
